The annual WVC veterinary conference will take place seven months later in 2021 because of public health concerns.
The organizer, Viticus Group, announced the date change, which will see the Las Vegas event move from mid-February to Sept. 6 to 9, 2021, at Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. Parts of the conference will be online.
A survey found that attendees “felt that an autumn date for the WVC annual conference would provide more time to adjust to post-pandemic circumstances (vaccine distribution, travel safety, etc.) and be more convenient for their schedule,” Viticus Group reported.
The 2022 conference is planned for a more traditional period: March 6 to 9, 2022.
