Vets Plus Inc., a contract manufacturer and the maker of animal health products such as Probios probiotics, will expand its Menomonie, Wisconsin, plant by 30,000 square feet, the company announced.
“Market demand and internal growth necessitates that we continue to expand our production footprint,” founder and CEO Raj Lall said. “We are planning for our future growth and want to ensure that our current and future customers can enjoy high quality, on-time product production.”
The additional space at the Stokke Parkway facility will increase total production floor space by 40 percent, the company reported.
Vets Plus, founded in 1990, holds Safe Quality Food (SQF) certification and adheres to National Animal Supplement Council (NASC) standards.
In other news, Vets Plus announced two appointments:
- Robert Devlin, DVM, MBA, was named vice president of private label business operations. He is the former executive director of Nutramax Laboratories’ Veterinary Science Division.
- Stefano Pettinella, MBA, was named vice president of international business development.
