Today’s Veterinary Business Staff

Hospital management company Pathway Vet Alliance grew to nearly 200 practices in the first quarter of 2019 by signing agreements with 17 clinics in 11 states.
The Austin, Texas, company moved into Idaho, Pennsylvania and Tennessee for the first time, supporting hospitals in those states in the areas of training, operations, marketing and finance.
“Bolstering our network and expanding into new markets has remained a focal point for our company, and we are thrilled with our first-quarter results,” said CEO Stephen Hadley, DVM, MS. “With every practice addition, we focus on working with hospital team members to address pain points and provide personalized support that facilitates the accomplishment of their set goals.”
Pathway’s roster includes hospitals in 34 states. The first quarter saw the addition of clinics not only in Idaho, Pennsylvania and Tennessee but also in California, Colorado, Illinois, Michigan, New Hampshire, Ohio, Texas and Washington.
Inc. magazine in 2018 recognized Pathway as one of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies, ranking Pathway No. 1,094 on the Inc. 5000.
Pathway was founded in 2003 as a single veterinary practice.
