What else is new at Today’s Veterinary Business? I’m excited to report that the journal you are reading now was named Best New Magazine by the Florida Magazine Association. (Our publisher, the North American Veterinary Community, is headquartered in Orlando.)

Besides winning a Charlie Award in the trade/technical category, Today’s Veterinary Business took second place with our website, www.TodaysVeterinaryBusiness.com.

NAVC Media, which includes this magazine, earned 13 awards overall. Also honored were the NAVC marketing department, our two peer-reviewed journals — Today’s Veterinary Practice and Today’s Veterinary Nurse — the distributor magazine Veterinary Advantage and the Spark online video news channel (www.NAVC.com/spark).

The success of Today’s Veterinary Business starts with our columnists, each an expert in multiple areas of veterinary practice, and continues to our other contributors — veterinarians, certified veterinary practice managers, veterinary nurses, industry veterans and professional freelance writers — who are able to turn sometimes complex topics into easy-to-digest articles with ready-to-implement action points.
