Virbac Corp. has released C.E.T. Veggiedent Fr3sh, a canine chew treat formulated to support digestion and freshen breath.
The chew is vegetable based, gluten-free, “easily digestible” and “moderate in calories,” Virbac reported.
“At Virbac, we’re committed to supporting the dental needs of pets, and this latest addition to our robust dental portfolio does just that,” marketing director Courtney Carney said.
The chew’s Z-shape is designed to reduce tartar, the company added.
Bad canine breath is common.
“Approximately 74 percent of pet owners complain about their dog’s bad breath,” Virbac stated. “Bad breath is more than just a nuisance. It can disrupt the bond between the pet owner and their dog. It can also signal a more serious problem such as dental disease. In fact, bad breath is a common sign of dental disease.”
