A certified veterinary practice manager and a pet health insurance expert will present separate webinars in December to members and non-members of the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association.
Julie Poncier, CVT, CVPM, PHR, SHRM-CP, the owner of Practice Moxie, will discuss “New Employee Orientation and Onboarding.” Her talk will take place from 1 to 2 p.m. EST, Wednesday, Dec. 6.
“Research shows us that 69 percent of employees who have a good orientation and onboarding experience will stay for an average of three years,” the VHMA reported.

The second webinar, “Insights into Realizing Stronger Revenues,” will be presented by Brakke Consulting senior consultant John Volk. He will address 10 secrets to best handling the pet insurance discussion with clients.
