Today’s Veterinary Business Staff

Zoetis Inc. has introduced a mobile app version of its VetVance educational website.
The launch, announced July 10, offers free video lectures on professional development, business skills, professional stewardship, financial literacy and personal wellness. The content is designed for veterinarians, veterinary students and veterinary nurses.
VetVance has nearly 17,000 registered users.
“This new mobile app will provide additional access for users, and more opportunities for Zoetis to reach an even broader audience with important messaging around topics of greatest interest to the veterinary professional, including personal wellness and financial literacy,” said Christine Jenkins, DVM, DACVIM, the chief medical officer and vice president of veterinary medical services and outcomes research at Zoetis.
According to Zoetis, app users also can:
- Build a professional community among registrants with similar areas of interest.
- Track individual course progress and learning assessments.
- Apply for Zoetis veterinary student scholarships.
The app may be downloaded to a smartphone or tablet through Apple’s AppStore or Google Play.
