Today’s Veterinary Business Staff

Vetter Software, a developer of cloud-based practice management software used by 1,400 veterinary clinics, has a new owner: DaySmart Software of Ann Arbor, Michigan. Terms of the transaction were not released.
DaySmart business management tools serve more than 200,000 users in the salon, spa, tattoo and pet grooming and boarding industries.
“We welcome all the Vetter customers and are excited to offer them DaySmart’s suite of value-added products and services,” said Patrick Shanahan, the Michigan company’s CEO. “The combination of DaySmart and Vetter Software provides a powerful platform for vet practices and extends our value to more pet professionals around the world.”
Vetter Software was founded in 2011 by Sagi Solomon, who along with the employees in his Redwood City, California, company now work for DaySmart.
“From the beginning, our mission has been to deliver an exceptional customer experience,” Solomon said. “As part of the DaySmart family, we have a great opportunity to further that mission.”
