Veterinary Wellbeing Summit set for mid-April
The AAVMC, AVMA and Zoetis are teaming up to present the symposium.
The Association of American Veterinary Medical Colleges and Zoetis Inc. are partnering for the fifth time to present a symposium on mental health and wellness in the veterinary profession.
The Veterinary Wellbeing Summit will be held April 15 to 17 in suburban Chicago. Registration is available at http://bit.ly/2o1WWFF.
The three-day event will take place at the Chicago Marriott Schaumburg. Schaumburg is home to the American Veterinary Medical Association, the symposium’s third presenting sponsor.
“The health and wellness challenges we face in veterinary medicine are real, they are serious, and they require a united and decisive response,” said the AAVMC’s CEO, Andrew T. Maccabe, DVM, MPH, JD. “We’re gratified to see so many people and organizations working together to address this threat to our profession and the people and animals it serves.”
