Today’s Veterinary Business Staff

Pet health insurer Trupanion has hired Bradley Lamb, JD, as the head of conversion, a job that entails turning leads into enrolled members.
Lamb last worked at Sears Holdings Corp., the parent company of Sears, as general manager and director of strategic partnerships for the retailer’s loyalty program. Before that she was head of global business development at Bloomberg Digital, director of business development at Yahoo and director of strategic programming partnerships at RealNetworks.
“With her background and experience building efficient and effective teams, Bradley will play a pivotal role in articulating the problem Trupanion solves for pet owners,” chief revenue officer Margi Tooth said. “Insurance can be confusing and often misunderstood; we’re looking forward to Bradley helping spread the word of medical insurance for pets across North America.”
Lamb will oversee Trupanion’s e-commerce and content teams, which have new leaders.
The company hired John Leafstedt as head of e-commerce, putting him in charge of developing the long-term vision and strategy for the company website.
Mark Billows was brought in to manage the content team. He previously worked at digital and advertising agencies such as BBDO, Arnold Worldwide and AKQA.
Seattle-based Trupanion insures more than 520,000 North America pets.
