Tomlyn has released the third and final product in its line of Equistro equine supplements.
Chrysanphyton, formulated to support circulation and vascular function, joins Artphyton and Secreta Pro Max. The two earlier supplements promote joint mobility and respiratory health, respectively.
“Launching and growing our line of health supplements for horses has been a major focus for Tomlyn over the past 12 months,” said Tabitha Cromer, marketing manager at Tomlyn, a division of Vetoquinol.
Chrysanphyton is intended for daily use and is made from dried and shredded Chrysanthellum americanum, a plant rich in antioxidants, Tomlin stated.
“The supplement is formulated to give support to blood vessels, by keeping them healthy, and to promote the natural process of blood vessel dilation in horses,” the company added.
Chrysanphyton can be used to “support horses that are prone to lower leg and hoof problems, such as quarter horses, warmbloods or thoroughbreds,” said technical services veterinarian Jennifer Kasten, DVM.
