Today’s Veterinary Business Staff

ReviewTree, a reputation-management company focused on the veterinary industry, has launched a free service designed to help practice leaders respond to online client reviews.
“Practices are simply too busy to invest the hours and hours required to respond to every client review,” said Michael Cody, ReviewTree’s CEO. “It’s on their wish list but not their to-do list.”
About 89% of Google reviews posted about veterinary practices go unanswered, which can negatively affect a client’s opinion of the clinic, according to the company.
ReviewTree uses ChatGPT-4 to produce custom responses. The artificial intelligence-powered platform trains itself to generate the best response by analyzing the text in each review. The company then sends the original text and drafted response to the practice’s contact person. The veterinary professional can approve, rewrite, reject or edit the response before it is posted on Google.
ReviewTree offers the service at no cost to veterinary practices.
“We are happy to provide a free solution … to improve the efficiency and consistency of responding to reviews,” Cody said. “This will save a great deal of time for staff and improve client communications.”
ReviewTree recommends:
- Responding quickly to online reviews to please clients and let prospective clients know the practice is dedicated to offering a prompt response to feedback.
- Responding promptly and properly to negative reviews to resolve issues and demonstrate a practice’s commitment to responsive care.
- Expressing gratitude for positive reviews.
- Expanding a practice’s visibility through search engine optimization.
