Today’s Veterinary Business Staff

Canadian veterinarians — and U.S. practitioners later in 2019 — can receive free pet nutrition advice from an independent panel of experts assembled by food maker Rayne Clinical Nutrition.
Rayne, which sells veterinary-exclusive therapeutic diets, reported that the Clinical Advisory Team is made up of independent veterinarians and board-certified specialists who will provide “unbiased expertise … for individual case management.”
The service is available in Canada by calling 888-680-7080 regardless of whether the veterinary clinic sells Rayne products.
“We will recommend Rayne food if it is the best option for the consumer’s pet,” a spokesman said.
Veterinarians also can go online at www.rayneconsult.com.
Rayne has provided nutrition consultations in Canada since 2013 but recently enhanced the service with “deeper expert support,” according to the company.
“Veterinarians will have access to independent veterinary experts and specialists to help them raise the bar on nutrition in a way pet owners can trust,” said Rayne President Anthony DeCarlo, VMD.
The company is headquartered in Leawood, Kansas.
