Heska Corp. will supply point-of-care diagnostic services at more than 140 Pathway Vet Alliance hospitals nationwide.
The partnership, announced June 14, gives Colorado-based Heska a foothold into another veterinary hospital network. The company in late 2017 reported that it would provide diagnostic equipment to more than 100 veterinary hospitals operated by PetVet Care Centers.
The PetVet agreement runs for seven years. The Pathway deal is “multiyear,” the Austin, Texas, company stated.
“Together, we expect to incorporate a range of new products and services into our veterinary hospitals, which will minimize wait times and add to our streamlined practice management system,” said Pathway CEO Stephen Hadley, DVM.
The hospital ownership and managership company has grown rapidly, acquiring more than 20 practices in the first half of 2018.
