The Kansas City Animal Health Corridor is looking for an industry contributor to honor at its next Homecoming Dinner.
Nominations are being taken until Feb. 23 for the 2018 Iron Paw, an award given annually to someone who has furthered the animal health industry through innovation, education, public awareness, market expansion or employment.
The 2018 honoree will be in distinguished company. The past two Iron Paw winners were Rich Shuler, president and CEO of Shuler Consulting Services, and Ralph C. Richardson, DVM, DACVIM, former dean of the Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
The award is open to anyone in research, academia, industry or government work.
