Today’s Veterinary Business Staff

VIP Petcare, which hosts pop-up veterinary clinics inside pet stores in 31 states, has added $20 nail trims to its menu of services.
The Windsor, California, company provides basic animal care using contract veterinarians.
“Nail trims are a natural addition to the services we offer through our community clinics,” said Robin Dunbar, vice president of operations.
“Being able to take care of your pet’s vaccinations, testing, prescription medication and nail trims at one location, without an appointment, is exactly the kind of experience we want to provide our very busy clients.”
Pet owners can purchase individual or packaged services. A heartworm/Lyme test costs $31, for example, while the Senior Wellness Package, which consists of a physical exam and profile screen, is $110.
The clinics are open on weekends and weeknights at select pet stores.
