Two veterinary leadership groups are teaming up to teach business skills to hospital decision makers.
A four-part webinar series, “Boosting Your Financial IQ to Maximize Fiscal Performance,” is free to all members of veterinary medical associations.
The organizers — Veterinary Medical Association Executives and the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association — scheduled these sessions:
- 1 to 2 p.m. EDT, June 27: “Financial Statements 101,” presented by Terence M. O’Neil, CPA, CVA, the partner-in-charge of Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Veterinary Services Group.
- 1 to 2 p.m. EDT, Aug. 22: “Key Performance Indicators: Simplifying the Tools that Gauge Hospital Performance,” presented by Beth Scott, CPA, a director in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Business Advisory and Veterinary Services Groups.
- 1 to 2 p.m. EDT, Oct. 3: “Why Budgeting Can Prevent Problems and Relieve Stress,” presented by Scott.
- 1 to 2 p.m. EST, Jan. 9, 2019: “Trends at the Most-Profitable Veterinary Hospitals,” presented by O’Neil.
