Morris Animal Foundation has given itself an early birthday present: a new, modern logo.
Set to mark its 70th anniversary in 2018, the Denver-based nonprofit organization reported Oct. 5 that the design utilizes “a bolder font and vivid color palette,” tweaks the animal silhouettes and adds a bird, which is shown perched on the elephant’s trunk.
“Our brand relaunch represents the natural evolution of the foundation’s transformation over the last few years,” said Tiffany Grunert, vice president of marketing and brand strategy.
The foundation raises money and issues grants in support of animal health studies. Since its 1948 founding by veterinarian and animal nutrition pioneer Mark L. Morris, the foundation has funded more than 2,600 studies.
One current project is the Golden Retriever Lifetime Study, which, according to Morris Animal Foundation, “seeks to identify the risk factors associated with development of cancer and other major diseases in dogs.”
Launch Advertising assisted with the logo’s design.
