Today’s Veterinary Business Staff

Morris Animal Foundation’s vice president of marketing and brand strategy has been promoted to president and CEO, the research-funding organization reported Sept. 19.
Tiffany Grunert, MS, APR, replaces John J. Reddington, Ph.D., DVM, who retired in early 2018 after serving less than two years as the Denver-based foundation’s top executive. Grunert was named acting president and CEO in his absence.
“After a highly competitive, nationwide search process, it became obvious to everyone on our selection committee that Tiffany was the right person to take on permanent leadership of the foundation,” said Walt George, chairman of the board of trustees. “She has shown that she is an inspiring colleague, collaborative partner and visionary leader.”
Grunert will oversee a $15 million annual budget, an $80 million endowment and 40 employees, Morris noted.
A former broadcast journalist, Grunert was an executive with the Denver Zoological Foundation before she joined Morris.
