Veterinary equipment maker Midmark Corp. is expanding its animal boarding and containment offerings through the acquisition of a competitor, Mason Company.

Terms of the transaction, announced June 4, were not revealed.

Mason focuses on kennel systems, grooming tables and accessories. Midmark sells an array of veterinary equipment, including monitors, treatment tables and lighting, and also does business in the human medicine and dentistry professions.
