Veterinary industry veteran Kerri Marshall, DVM, MBA, has joined Compassion-First Pet Hospitals as vice president of innovation.
Dr. Marshall last worked at software and app developer BabelBark as chief veterinary officer and before that at Trupanion pet insurance.
At Compassion-First, a network of more than 40 clinics in 14 states, Dr. Marshall “will be responsible for implementing technology that will streamline collaboration across hospitals,” the company reported.
“I have known Kerri since her days at Banfield, and I believe strongly that her knowledge and foundation for technological innovation will enable us to achieve our goal of becoming the Mayo Clinic of veterinary medicine even faster,” said Compassion-First CEO and President John Payne.
Payne is a former CEO of the Banfield Pet Hospital network.
Dr. Marshall will continue to serve on the BabelBark advisory board.
