Today’s Veterinary Business Staff

National distributor Midwest Veterinary Supply and its mClub buying program have partnered with telehealth operator GuardianVets.
The arrangement makes GuardianVets, which serves hundreds of veterinary hospitals across the United States and Canada, the preferred telehealth vendor for mClub members.
“GuardianVets is built to be comprehensive and to solve multiple pain points for practices, whether it be after-hours triage support, telemedicine or general client communications,” mClub CEO Jeff Morrison said.
Using the GuardianVets mobile app, which integrates with most practice management software systems, veterinarians can conduct live video chats with clients and set their hours of availability. The teletriage option, mostly for after-hours care, connects pet owners with a veterinary nurse or veterinarian, who will not diagnose a condition or prescribe a treatment but instead will advise the caller about next steps.
