Veterinary associations in Armenia, Kenya and 14 other countries will receive free registration on behalf of members who desire to become certified in Fear Free practice.
The Veterinary Professional Certification Program is offering three price levels to groups affiliated with the World Small Animal Veterinary Association. Complimentary registration is being provided in 16 developing regions, or Tier 1 countries. Discounts of 50% or 20% will go to groups in dozens of other countries that make up tiers 2 and 3.

“Fear Free can’t fulfill its mission of alleviating fear, anxiety and stress in animals without reaching professionals in under-served areas,” said Fear Free founder Marty Becker, DVM. “This partnership with WSAVA makes the program accessible to veterinary team members in regions struggling with access to educational opportunities.”
The principles behind Fear Free are applicable anywhere.
“The Fear Free program provides a wealth of evidence-based information to support veterinary health care teams in reducing anxiety and stress in their patients, both during clinic visits and when they are at home with their families and communities,” said WSAVA President Shane Ryan, BVSc, MVS, CVA, MChiroSc.
The arrangement makes Fear Free a WSAVA Global Education Partner.
