Nutramax Laboratories Veterinary Sciences Inc. has introduced veterinary-exclusive Denamarin Advanced, a chewable tablet formulated to support canine liver function.
Available in separate strengths for large dogs and small to medium dogs, Denamarin Advanced contains the active ingredients S-Adenosylmethionine and Silybin-phosphatidylcholine complex. The blend has been shown “to be hepatoprotective by helping inhibit the inflammatory pathway and supporting oxidative balance,” the Lancaster, South Carolina, company stated.
Another Nutramax liver supplement, Denamarin, is sold over the counter. The pure, stabilized salt used in Denamarin Advanced “provides greater absorption compared to original Denamarin salt,” the company added.
Denamarin Advanced comes in displayable cartons containing four 30-count bottles.
