CVC Kansas City, an annual veterinary convention expected to draw 5,500 attendees Aug. 25 to 28, will sport a new name starting in 2018: Fetch, a dvm360 conference.
The rebranding, announced Aug. 25, will be in full view in December when CVC San Diego becomes Fetch San Diego. That will be followed by Fetch Virginia Beach in Virginia Beach, Virginia, in May 2018.
“Not only is it a new name, new branding and new colors, which is exciting, but Fetch is going to take a 360-degree approach to training and supporting veterinarians, technicians and practice managers,” said Christie McFall, vice president and general manager of UBM Animal Care, the owner of dvd360 magazine.
Conference rebranding is happening at the North American Veterinary Community, too. NAVC, the owner of Today’s Veterinary Business, has renamed the annual NAVC Conference as VMX, or Veterinary Meeting and Expo.
The first VMX will take place Feb. 3 to 7 in Orlando, Florida.
