Veterinary practices using the AVImark, ImproMed or eVetPractice practice management systems can link up with a select number of service providers through Covetrus Connect.
The integration platform was unveiled by Covetrus, a distributor and provider of veterinary products and services.
“Managing veterinary practice information, technology and workflow is a time-consuming part of day-to-day operations,” said Chris Dollar, president of Covetrus Global Software Services. “With Covetrus Connect, we are now providing veterinary professionals with more choices to use third-party technology solutions integrated with AVImark, ImproMed and eVetPractice via a secure, permissions-based integration platform to increase efficiencies in their practice, improve workflow, securely connect to partners and deliver better care.”
The platform has more than 40 partners in areas such as prescription management, business analytics, diagnostics and staff training. Among the partners are the inventory management firm Cubex, payment processor CareCredit, and digital radiology providers Cuattro and SoundEklin.
Covetrus Connect is the only authorized integration platform for Covetrus practice management systems, the company stated.
