Today’s Veterinary Business Staff

Dr. Temple Grandin and three other keynote speakers will address attendees during Covetrus’ annual VetSummit conference, which has been moved online in 2020 because of the pandemic.
Registration for the live event, which will take place Oct. 16, 17 and 18, is available at www.vetsummit.com.
Veterinarians, veterinary technicians and practice managers can earn up to 20 continuing education hours. The sessions can be viewed on demand for one year.
“Each year, we look forward to delivering a content-rich program with compelling speakers to our community of animal-health workers and partners,” said Georgia Wraight, executive vice president and president of Covetrus Global Technology Solutions.
Dr. Grandin, a professor of animal science at Colorado State University, will speak Oct. 17 on the topic “Understanding Animal Behavior.” More than a dozen other speakers are scheduled, including keynoters Eric D. Garcia, a digital strategist and former Today’s Veterinary Business columnist; Dr. Dave Nicol, the founder of VetX International; and Dr. Frances Frei, a Harvard Business School professor of technology and operations management.
A virtual trade show will be held each morning and during a midday break.
