Today’s Veterinary Business Staff

Today’s Veterinary Technician, an official peer-reviewed journal published by the North American Veterinary Community, will be repositioned as Today’s Veterinary Nurse in support of the Veterinary Nurse Initiative Coalition.
NAVC, the publisher of Today’s Veterinary Business, announced Oct. 17 that Today’s Veterinary Nurse will debut in winter 2018 as a quarterly journal.
The rebranding coincides with a campaign by the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (NAVTA) to establish registered veterinary nurse (RVN) as the standard credential across the United States.
“The NAVC fully supports a single credential for veterinary nurses nationwide and we believe it will improve the level of patient care, reduce pet owners’ confusion and lead to an improved public perception for the great work these individuals are doing on a daily basis,” said NAVC CEO Tom Bohn, CAE.
