The Pro Line brand of veterinary-exclusive supplements has grown by one with the introduction of Cardio Pro, a heart health product for dogs and cats.
The manufacturer, VetriScience Laboratories, reported that Cardio Pro is recommended for dogs and cats with heart issues as well as senior pets and breeds predisposed to cardiovascular issues.
Cardio Pro is an advanced formula based on the company’s Cardio Strength supplement, VetriScience stated.
“Cardio Pro serves the growing demand for heart support products with a combination of well-researched ingredients in an easily administered, multispecies chew,” said senior veterinary services consultant Elizabeth DeLomba, DVM, MBA.
Among the 11 active ingredients are Hawthorn phytosome, for the support of blood flow and circulation, and the amino acids L-carnitine and L-taurine.
The daily supplement has a hydrolyzed chicken liver flavor and is suitable for sensitive diets, VetriScience added.
