Today’s Veterinary Business Staff

ASPCA pet health insurance policyholders now have around-the-clock access to someone who can answer the question, “Is the emergency veterinary procedure covered?”
Parent company Crum & Forster Pet Insurance Group reported that the new 24/7 service also can provide an estimate of how much of the veterinary bill will be reimbursed. The hotline used to be open during regular business hours only.
“As a pet parent myself, I know the stress that can be caused when your four-legged friend needs to be rushed to an emergency visit because they’ve swallowed a sock or injured a limb,” said Liz Watson, vice president of Crum & Forster. “Our goal is to provide a convenient way for customers in this situation to access important insurance information and get the answers they need regarding coverage.”
The ASPCA insurance hotline number is 866-204-6764.
