The K.C. Animal Health Corridor is looking for a dozen or so emerging companies that could use investment dollars and expert advice.
Selected companies will each send a representative onstage Sept. 1 at the Kansas City Convention Center to introduce a promising animal health product and talk about its financial prospects.
In the audience will be hundreds of financiers and industry veterans. Companies presenting at previous K.C. Animal Health Investment Forums have raised more than $430 million, according to organizers.
A panel of judges will select one top-performing presenter as the winner of the Investment Award, an honor that carries a $10,000 prize. The 2019 Investment Forum winner was SwineTech.
Applications for a spot at the 12th annual Investment Forum are being accepted until April 14 at http://bit.ly/2AK9cyO. Contenders should be looking for $500,000 to $20 million in funding and projecting revenue of at least $20 million within five to seven years.
The Investment Forum is one of three events celebrating Global Animal Health Week. The Market Insight Seminar and the Homecoming Dinner will take place Aug. 31.
