Today’s Veterinary Business Staff

Spot On Veterinary Hospital and Hotel, which is set to open Dec. 11 in Stamford, Connecticut, will reunite three graduates of the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine.
Practice owner Philip Putter, DVM, hired Anna Larson, DVM, and Rachel Fuentes, DVM, as associate veterinarians. Dr. Putter graduated from Ross in 2009, Dr. Larsen in 2010 and Dr. Fuentes in 2011.
Also overseeing the business is Dr. Putter’s wife, director of operations Becky Putter, and hospital and hotel director Kaeley Blum, CPDT.
“After months and months of countless interviews, we’ve selected an impressive team of talented and distinguished pet care professionals,” Dr. Putter said.
Spot On will fill 16,000 square feet with a veterinary hospital, boarding facility, adoption center, grooming spa and boutique.
Dr. Larson spent her clinical year at the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine and completed cardiology and dentistry externships at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Fuentes is a certified veterinary acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine specialist. She finished her clinical year at the Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine and did her TCVM training at the Chi Institute.
