Today’s Veterinary Business Staff

Alison McIntyre, a junior partner at the Animal Policy Group, will take on a second role as executive director of the Veterinary Virtual Care Association (VVCA).
“Ali is an excellent choice, and she’s volunteered nearly full time since we started [in April],” said Mark Cushing, JD, founding member of the VVCA and founding partner of the Animal Policy Group. “She is committed to making virtual care a key component of veterinary medicine.”
The organization is dedicated to promoting and expanding the use of virtual care activities such telehealth, telemedicine, telemonitoring and teletriage.
“McIntyre will be responsible for bringing the vision of the VVCA to advocate best virtual care practices, provide educational resources, and create a space for a wide alliance of professionals to congregate and accelerate the adoption of virtual care … within veterinary medicine,” the organization reported.
