Synchrony’s CareCredit has partnered with Clarus Technology to embed real-time financial information and insurance coverage insights directly into the Clarus Portal for veterinary practices.
According to the joint release, the collaboration aims to reduce administrative friction and support higher treatment acceptance rates by connecting insurance and financing data in a single workflow. The Clarus Platform, which is provided free to veterinary practices and integrates with major practice information management systems (PIMS), offers several key tools:
- Real-time claims support: Allows staff to search, submit, and track pet insurance claims directly from the portal with instant visibility into policy details.
- Financial navigation: Identifies flexible financing options tailored to a client’s insurance coverage and out-of-pocket costs.
- Practice dashboards: Tracks data on insurance utilization and cost-of-care financing trends to optimize clinic revenue.
Jonathan Wainberg, senior vice president and general manager of pet at CareCredit, stated in the release that the integration helps veterinary teams “streamline cost-of-care conversations, reduce payment friction, and improve the client experience.”
