Patterson Veterinary has launched Atlas, an artificial intelligence (AI) assistant designed to help veterinary practices analyze business data and streamline daily operational tasks.
According to the company’s release, Atlas allows veterinary teams to interact with practice data using natural language questions instead of navigating multiple reports and menus. The assistant’s business intelligence capabilities analyze cross-report findings to deliver recommendations for revenue opportunities and operational efficiency. Atlas also automates administrative tasks such as monitoring inventory, checking controlled substance counts, scheduling, and drafting translated client communications.
The AI tool is built directly into Patterson’s NaVetor cloud software but is also available for use alongside other practice management platforms.
Christal Hahn, director of commercial software at Patterson Veterinary, noted in the release that clinics house vast amounts of valuable data, but extracting meaningful answers is often time-consuming. By allowing practices to ask direct questions, Hahn stated that the tool helps teams achieve “more efficient time management, better organization and communication, and smarter business planning.”
