Casco Pet Launches CareKennels
Animal housing and cabinetry provider Casco Pet has introduced CareKennels, a new line of clinical housing designed as a quieter alternative to stainless steel cages. The new kennels have been constructed using an antibacterial polymer and toughened safety glass doors. The company said the design reduces noise, improves biosecurity, and allows for more efficient cleaning protocols.
FDA Expands Bravecto Quantum Label
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved a label extension on Merck Animal Health’s Bravecto Quantum to include treatment and control of the Asian longhorned tick and the Gulf Coast tick for 12 months when administered as a single, veterinarian-delivered injection.

A picture-identification survey from Vetster of 2,000 U.S. dog and cat owners has found that the majority of pet owners are unable to identify common skin conditions in pets, including skin mites, fleas, ticks, and ringworm.
